I wouldn’t sit if I were you.
So as a few people know, AssSavers now make mud guards for Brooks saddles… But not spring saddles.
Being a commuter, I have a sprung saddle for my ride and I simply refuse to bolt on another accessory to my seat pole.
Using the cover of a plastic folder, you can easily make of of these yourself, specially fit to your own saddle. And more importantly, you can hunt down any colour folder you wish to use so you are coordinated.
Take a look at the lovely Ass-Saver.com website to purchase one of their lovely, professional mud guards (or to help customise one for your classic sprung saddle).
Well sometimes I do. Especially when I get to sip an early morning coffee and stare wantingly at random awesome bikes.
This beast in particular took my fancy as at the time I thought my own bike was a Repco model (only to find out later it was in fact not). I also marvel at bike owners who are brave enough to leave there bikes around cafes unchained next to lovely surrounds which make them all the more tempting to those like me with a wondering eye. Of course I would never do such a thing, but there are those in the world who do act on impulse.
Some time ago, a dear friend of mine stumbled across this rare beauty outside the Melbourne Arts Centre. Red, green and blue = all the colours of the bow (and no annoying CMYK colour loss).
Great job bike peep.
BM Helmets have stayed with me ever since I saw a few years ago in a shop in Melbourne Central which were not for sale. I was absolutely mesmerised by the small, speedy looking helmets which looked like they were ready to be shot into space.
I have never managed to find them in Melbourne since had not much luck online as the Thai company does not ship to Australia.
But I will never give up hope.
